We are thrilled to announce that the intelWATT Project has been showcased in Italy’s prestigious newspaper, ilSole 24 Ore. The article highlights our groundbreaking efforts in developing innovative solutions for water treatment and sustainability in energy-intensive industries.
The article underlines how intelWATT aims to revolutionize water preservation by simultaneously producing energy and recovering raw materials from industrial wastewater. Also thanks to Enrica Fontananova and CNR-ITM, our project is making significant strides in demonstrating three key case studies: power generation, mining, and metal plating.
Through advanced sensor systems and AI-driven decision-making mechanisms, we are optimizing process conditions in real-time to minimize liquid waste and maximize water recycling. The CNR-ITM team is leading the charge in valorizing brine from the mining industry to recover clean water and produce renewable energy.
