We are pleased to announce a new scientific publication from the University of Birmingham, a key partner in the intelWATT Project. This research, titled “Direct Experimental Comparison of Batch Reverse Osmosis (RO) Technologies,” explores innovative approaches to high-recovery desalination.
The study provides a first-of-its-kind side-by-side comparison of batch, semi-batch, and hybrid semi-batch/batch RO processes using the same membrane and supply pump at pressures up to 110 bar. The findings highlight the efficiency improvements of batch RO technologies.
