CNR-ITM has just published a new position opened of one Research grants for collaboration to research activities in the frame of intelWATT project. The activities foreseen will have the following theme: “Membrane operations for water recovery and energy conversion from industrial waste” and they will be supervised by Dott. Enrica Fontananova and Dott. Gianluca Di Profio. The research grant will run for 12 (twelve) months and, as a result of any renewals, may not, however, have a cumulative duration of more than six years.

To the selection may apply individuals who, whatever their nationality or age, are in possession of the following requirements at the date of expiry of the deadline for submission of applications:

  1. Master’s Degree in Chemistry, in Materials Sciences, in Chemical Engineering, in Environmental Engineering and Territorial Safety, in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, in accordance with the legislation in force before DM 509/99 or Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in accordance with the regulations referred to in DM 270/04, with professional resume suitable for the conduct of research according to the specifications given in the following points (the candidate is in charge, penalty of exclusion, of demonstrating equiparation of graduation diplomas); All qualifications obtained abroad (bechelor’s degree, and any other qualification) shall be previously recognized in Italy in accordance with current legislation (information on the website of the Ministry of University and Scientific Research: www.miur.it. The equivalence of those diplomas obtained abroad who have not already been recognized in Italy with the expected formal procedure above, will be evaluated, with the only purpose of the present selection, by the Examining Committee constituted;
  2. Experience within the thematic declared by the instruction;
  3. English proficiency;
  4. Italian proficiency (only for foreign applicants).

The experience in the field of membrane distillation and/or reverse electrodialysis will be a preferential title.
