With the signing of the Climate Emergency Letter in 2019, the Polytechnic of Turin committed to developing strategies and actions to fight climate change. The effects of climate change are already visible, and it is important to plan actions that improve and strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity.
The event was an opportunity to discuss the climate action measures already undertaken by the university and to launch the call for ideas aimed at the entire Polytechnic community to collect climate adaptation proposals for the campus that integrate with decarbonization actions already underway. With over 40 posters proposed by researchers from the university, the poster session was a moment of scientific dissemination on the specific themes of climate adaptation.
EARN&ST at MPMNT Group in PoliTO, which is part of intelWATT project, participated in this event presenting the poster titled “Graphene: the future of membranes for energy and materials recovered from seawater“: the poster was focused on the works related to intelWATT, CO2CAP and Fare projects.
