Visit from European Commission’s Director at NCSR “Demokritos”

The Membranes and Materials for Environmental Separations Laboratory at NCSR “Demokritos” had the privilege of hosting Mr. Peter Dröll, Director of Prosperity at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, on November 30. Joined by Dr. Evangelos Gogolides, Director of the Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology at NCSR “Demokritos,” the visit was part of the Greek event for the EU-wide “Awareness Raising Campaign on Knowledge Valorisation.”

During the visit, Dr. Andreas Sapalidis, the project coordinator, introduced the intelWATT project. Mr. Dröll emphasized the significance of high TRL implementations and engaged in discussions about additional supportive actions necessary for the project’s continuation, successful exploitation of achievements, and maximizing impacts on society.
